vRxPro® has integrations with many Practice Management Software (learn more), allowing practices to easily import client and patient accounts from their medical records into vRxPro. Easy Import (or "Auto sync") helps with this.
To enable Easy Import, please contact support either via Chat within the app or call (877) 999-2838.

What information is imported?
During the initial account import, the following information is transferred to vRxPro:
|
Client
|
Patient
|
Will changes made in my medical records transfer to vRxPro?
For all other practice management systems, other than Pulse®, if the following information is updated in the medical record, it will be updated in vRxPro the following day.
However, if your practice is utilizing Pulse the information will be updated immediately.
|
Client
|
Patient
|
*For Pulse, this includes: Deceased, HBC Deceased, Euthanized, and Passed Away. Actual statuses may vary for other software.
Will changes made in vRxPro accounts be transferred to the medical record?
No, any updates to vRxPro accounts will not translate to the medical record.
When do new clients and patients get imported?
An initial import of all Active clients and patients will take place. For new practices, this will happen when the initial software integration is established, for existing practices, this will happen once Easy Import has been enabled.
If you are using Pulse
If your practice is using Pulse, new client and patient accounts will automatically be added to vRxPro, provided all of the vRxPro-required fields are completed within Pulse.
If you are using Avimark®
If your practice is using the Create Rx workflow within Avimark, you will be able to access and import new patients and clients immediately by selecting Import now.
For all other integrated software
For practices utilizing an integrated practice management software other than Pulse, new client and patient accounts will be imported into vRxPro the following day. The system will complete a nightly sync. and import any new clients created that day.
Do I still need to link records?
It is most likely that you will no longer need to manually link records. Even when information is entered manually in vRxPro, the system will automatically associate the records once matching information is entered in Pulse.
Should manual intervention ever be required, please contact the support team for further assistance.
Why am I still not seeing the account in vRxPro?
If the account is still not showing in vRxPro 24 hours after you created it in your practice management software, you may not have filled out the required fields. Ensure the following fields are completed in the medical record:
|
Client
|
Patient
|
Note: We recommend making these fields required in your practice management software so that you do not forget to fill them out.
Covetrus® will support integrations with Covetrus owned PIMS on versions released in the prior 24 months. For versions older than 24 months Covetrus will make commercially reasonable efforts to get the clinic to update or to address integrations issue on older versions with patches.
Covetrus will make commercially reasonable efforts to support integrations with 3rd party PIMS and legacy Covetrus PIMS, however, Covetrus is not responsible if the integration stops working due to clinic hardware, software issues, database corruption, installation in a non-standard manner, the software provider updating the database in such a way that the integration no longer works. The software provider may choose to end of life their software without communicating with us and we are not responsible for any sudden failures or the ability to migrate the data.
