Product Details

The Product Details section houses key dosage information:

Product	Item selected from the Product Search screen. Note: This may include dose form for compounded medications and food form (dry/wet) for diets.
Strength	Product dosage. Note: This may include bag size or flavor for diets.
Maximum Units Per Fill	Maximum amount that the client can order at one time. Note: The client will be able to purchase UP TO the amount listed.
Refills	Number of refills on the prescription. Note: Total allowable quantity = Max Units per Fill (Refills + 1).*
Expiration Date	Final date that the client can purchase from this prescription (including Refills). Note: This is NOT the expiration of the product itself.
Client Notification Date	Date that your client will receive the email notification, or Scriptminder, for the prescription. Setting a future date is helpful for scenarios when the client does not need the prescription today.

Prescription Notes

The Prescription Notes section includes communications to the client and to the pharmacist.

Directions

Dosing and administration instructions as they will appear on prescription label.

Note: Common directions can be saved as a shortcut for later use.

Notes to Client

Additional notes to the client that will appear in the Scriptminder email notification.

Examples: Reminders, personalized notes, coupon codes.

Notes to Pharmacy

Notes to the pharmacy team that reviews the prescription. These will be visible for every fill.

Examples: Allergies, special instructions, reasons for prescribing off-label.

The Additional Details section holds several actionable check boxes and the prescribing veterinarian information.

Recommend AutoShip?	Informs the client via the Scriptminder notification email that the product is a good candidate for AutoShip. Note: This will be checked for preventatives and diets by default.
Prescription came from other pharmacy	Sends a tailored Scriptminder notification email informing the client that they can purchase the item through the Covetrus® Online Pharmacy.
Create Another	After authorizing the ProScript, you will be directed back to the product search screen to easily create another ProScript for the same patient.
Print After Authorizing	A print view of the prescription will pop up after authorizing. This is helpful for printing or saving as a PDF for the medical record.
Authorizing Veterinarian	The prescribing veterinarian of the prescription.
Licenses	Veterinarians with multiple licenses will be able to select which license should be associated with the prescription.
Authorize	Authorizes the prescription.
Save as Draft	Saves your progress. The draft can be accessed via the Manage Drafts section of the left navigation menu.
Copy Details	Copy details from the prescription pad to your clipboard. This can be helpful to paste into medical records.
Print Draft	Print the prescription pad. This can be used for reviewing or confirming with the veterinarian prior to issuing the prescription.
