As a veterinarian, you can assign and approve delegate permissions to practice users under your license.
Note: As the license holder, you are solely responsible for monitoring the continued competency of your delegee and must immediately revoke any delegated authority if the individual leaves your practice or if you believe they no longer have the ability to perform the delegated tasks.
Assigning Delegates as a Veterinarian
As a veterinarian, you can approve pending delegate requests and directly assign delegate permission under your license.
Accessing your Account page
- Click on your initials at the top right corner of the page and select My Account.
Approving Pending Delegates
When a User Administrator has requested delegate permissions for a user under your license, you will need to approve or deny the request.
From your Account page:
- Locate the My Pending Delegates card.
- Check the box next to the name(s) that you would like to approve.
- Click Approve to accept the delegate permission request(s).
- If you would like to decline a request, select the name(s) and click Deny.
Assigning Delegate Permissions
As a veterinarian, you can directly assign users delegate permissions under your license.
From your Account page:
- Locate the My Approved Delegates card and click Add/Manage Delegates.
- Select the desired Permission Level you would like each applicable user to have under your license.
Note: As a veterinarian, you have the option to grant a trusted User Administrator the Manager delegate permission. This allows the user to assign and approve Basic & Advanced delegates on your behalf.
- Click Apply Changes to save.
