Practice employees who utilize vRxPro® will need a user account. User Administrators can create users.
Creating a New User
To create a new practice user:
- Go to Practice Settings and select User Management from the left navigation menu.
- Click the Add User button.
From the Add New User flyout:
- Complete the Name and Username fields.
Note: The email address used for each user must be unique. We recommend using a user-specific, practice-provided email address for each user such as mary@abcvethospital.com or maryabcvet@mail.com.
- Select the desired Permissions from the drop-down menu. If the user is a veterinarian, see the steps below.
- Click Add User.
If the user is a veterinarian:
Once the Veterinarian permission has been selected, additional fields will be displayed.
- Enter the veterinarian’s First and Last Names as they should appear on prescription labels.
- Enter the veterinarian’s License Number, Expiration Date, Country, and State.
- If the veterinarian is licensed in multiple states, click + Add Additional State License and complete the required fields.
- Enter the veterinarian’s DEA License if applicable.
- Click Add User.
Once the user has been created, they will receive an email welcoming them and prompting them to set their password.
Understanding User Permissions
The system has several permissions available:
| Practice User | Default permission for all users. |
| Settings Administrator | User can edit practice details such as name, address, and logo and can enable Client Request email notifications. |
| User Administrator | User can add new practice users, edit existing user accounts, change user permissions, and propose veterinary delegates (must be confirmed by veterinarian or Delegate Manager, click here for more information) |
| Reporting | User can download Monthly Reports, pull custom reports, and view the Analytics Dashboard. |
| Veterinarian | User can prescribe and designate their delegates for prescribing. Additional license fields are required. |
| Payout Administrator | User can update practice banking information. This permission is not available for Corporate owned practices. |
| Help Client | User can access Assisted Service Mode to help clients with their storefront accounts and place orders. |
| Product Catalog Admin | User can edit the storefront catalog, product pricing, and preferred brands for promotion. |
