In some instances, a client may want to enroll a product in AutoShip, but they do not need the item immediately.
- The client may purchase a small amount in-practice, but they would benefit from receiving their refills via home delivery.
- The client has an existing AutoShip subscription, but need to make an adjustment to the product for their future orders.
In these scenarios, vRxPro® users with the Help Client permission can enroll clients in AutoShip, and set the initial order for a future date.
Note: Schedule a Future AutoShip is a practice-facing feature and will not be visible to clients on the storefront.

How to set up a future AutoShip enrollment
Placing a Future AutoShip order for a client can be completed in three steps:
- Create the ProScript.
- Launch Assisted Service Mode.
- Place the order.
Create the ProScript
The easiest way to create a ProScript for a Future AutoShip order is from the Patient Profile.
- First, select Client List from the left navigation menu.
- From the Client List, locate the client and patient and click on the Patient’s name to open their profile.
- Click the Create Rx button located on the top of the Products card.

Launch Assisted Service Mode
Once you have created the ProScript, you will be directed back to the patient’s profile.
- Click the Order Rx button located at the top right of the Products card to open the Prescriptions tab of the client’s storefront account via Assisted Service Mode.
Note: if you do not see the Order Rx button, check with your vRxPro User Administrator.
Place the Order
When you click Order Rx you will be redirected to the Prescriptions tab of the client’s storefront account via Assisted Service Mode.
Locate the item that you would like to enroll in a Future AutoShip:
- Click Add to Cart, and then Proceed to Checkout.
Note: Future AutoShip orders can only be set up for orders containing one item.
- Select the patient and click Continue.
- Click Schedule a Future AutoShip to open the Future AutoShip window.
- Select the date you would like the first order to be placed.
- Choose the frequency you would like the product delivered.
- Click Save.
Note: Order date is the date that the order will be placed, and not the date the client will receive their order. The client should expect to receive their order 3-5 days after the order date.
- Click Continue to Shipping.
Note: All AutoShip orders will be shipped to the preferred shipping address on file.
To change the preferred shipping address:
- Click the edit pencil on the address you would like to set as preferred.
- Check the Set as preferred address box.
- Click Save Changes.
- Choose the Shipping Method.
- Click Continue to Payment.
Note: All AutoShip orders will be charged to the preferred payment method.
To change the preferred payment method:
- Click the edit pencil on the payment method you would like to set as preferred.
- Check the Set as preferred address box.
- Click Save Changes.
- Click Continue to Review Order.
An estimated price will be displayed, but the client will not be charged until the order places.
- Click Create Future AutoShip to schedule the AutoShip.
Note: Prices and promotions are subject to change. Promotions Codes cannot be applied to Future AutoShip orders.
After the order has been scheduled, the client will receive the following confirmation email:
Subject: Your AutoShip order has been scheduled!
