To help save time and mirror in-practice workflow, vRxPro® allows users to easily copy prescription details to their clipboard to paste into their Practice Management Software.
How to Copy Prescription Details
Prescription details can be easily copied by clicking the Copy Details button anywhere within vRxPro. Clicking this button will copy the Rx details to your clipboard to easily paste into the desired location.
When to Copy Rx Details
The Copy Details button can be found in several places in vRxPro and can be utilized to streamline workflows. Details can be copied both prior to authorizing the prescription and after it has been finalized.
Pre-Authorization: Create a task or callback item
Prior to authorizing a prescription, you can copy and paste prescription details to create a task or callback item within your Practice Management Software for veterinarians to review.
This can be helpful if your doctors do not regularly login to vRxPro or if your practice requires additional steps prior to authorizing a prescription through vRxPro.
The Copy Details button can be found on the bottom right of all digital prescription pads, including:
- Create Rx
- Client Requests
- ProScript Renewals
- Draft Prescriptions
Post-Authorization: Update medical record
After finalizing or authorizing the prescription, details can be easily copied to paste into the patient’s medical record.
This can be helpful if your practice is utilizing a Practice Management Software that does not have writeback capabilities with vRxPro.
The Copy Details button can be found on the top right of the Rx Details page, which can be accessed via the Patient’s Profile or Rx History.
Rx History
- Navigate to History > Rx History.
- Select the prescription.
- Click the Copy Details button at the top right of the page.
Patient Profile
- From the patient’s profile, under the Products card, select the prescription.
- Click the Copy Details button at the top right of the page.
