The Analytics Dashboard offers quick access to key financial metrics to help practice administrators make informed financial decisions while enhancing business agility.
The Analytics Dashboard is available to vRxPro® users with the Reporting permission.
Note: Because Dashboard Analytics are pulled on demand, they are not reconciled. For financially reconciled data, please see your standard Monthly Reports.
To access the Analytics Dashboard:
- Go to Reporting and select Analytics Dashboard from the left navigation menu.
- Use the drop-down in the top-right corner to adjust the date range for the data. See Understanding Date Ranges for more details.
Understanding the Data
The Analytics Dashboard provides real-time online store performance updates.
The page is organized into three sections:
- Financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Order Breakdown
- Top Products
Financial KPIs
The top section includes five KPIs that breakdown the storefront’s performance. This data will update based on the options selected from the Order Breakdown and Top Products reports.
- Select a field under Order Breakdown or Top Products to view KPIs for that specific item.
| Gross Revenue | Total practice revenue before costs are deducted. This includes revenue from product sales and handling fees. |
| Net Profit | The amount left over after all practice fees, taxes, practice-sponsored discounts, and practice-sponsored refunds are deducted from the gross revenue. |
| Net Profit Margin | Net profit, divided by gross revenue, expressed as a percentage. |
| Shipped Orders | Number of distinct orders with at least one shipped item. Excludes reship and no-charge orders. |
| Average Order Value | Gross revenue, divided by the number of distinct orders with at least one shipped item. |
Each KPI includes a metric label, the total for the selected time period (default is Month to Date), and a comparison of that total to the previous period.
Note: The data will update based on selections from the Order Breakdown and Top Products cards.
