Covetrus® works closely with manufacturers to provide rebates and discounts in order to offer a competitive price to clients. For improved visibility when prescribing, these promotions are now displayed within the practice prescribing platform.
Where can I see promotions?
Product Catalog
Promotions will be visible to all vRxPro users within the Product Catalog. To access the catalog, simply select Product Catalog from the left navigation menu.
Locate the item you wish to see by using the search bar at the top of the page.
Click the tag icon next to View Promotions to see potential savings.
The Rebates and Promotions slide will display all potential savings to the client on that particular product. The promotions will be listed in order from most savings to least savings.
- The Sale Price or Price with AutoShip will be the price with the largest promotion applied. This price does not include taxes, shipping, handling, or fulfillment fees.
- Use the drop-down menus to change the size and quantity of the item.
Note that certain promotions may not be available if the client has already redeemed the offer. For example, if the promotion is for the first time using AutoShip, and the client has already used AutoShip on that item, they will not be eligible.
Create Rx: Product Details
Rebates and Promotions will also be available within the Product Details window when searching for a product in Create Rx.
From the Select Product search screen, click View Details to open the Product Details window.
Click the caret next to Rebates and Promotions to display potential savings.
Note that the Sale Price or Price with AutoShip does not include shipping, handling, or fulfillment fees.
Create Rx: Compound Dose Forms
If the item that you are prescribing is a compounded medication, you can view rebates and promotions within the Compound Dose Forms window.
- From the Select Product search screen, click the Dose Forms button.
- Click the caret next to Rebates and Promotions to display potential savings.
- Use the drop-down to change quantity.
Note that the Sale Price or Price with AutoShip does not include taxes, shipping, handling, or fulfillment fees.
Create Rx: Digital Prescription Pad
Client price, including potential rebates and promotions, is also visible on the prescription pad.
- Expand or collapse the section using the caret.
- Use the drop-downs within the Rebates and Promotions card or the Script Pad to change the strength and quantity of the item.
- The Sale Price or Price with AutoShip will reflect the adjusted amounts. This price does not include taxes, shipping, handling, or fulfillment fees.

What promotions are visible?
AutoShip Discounts and Manufacturer Rebates will be displayed within the practice prescribing platform.
Additional savings including Bundle Savings, Sitewide Sales, and Coupon/Promotional Codes may be available, but will not be listed within the platform.
